Registered Legal Executive and Personal Assistant to John Angland
Katrina has been employed with the firm of Ronald W. Angland & Son since November 2000 when she came in search of employment after undertaking a National Certificate in Business Administration and Computing. She had no experience in a law firm and has grown to gain a wealth of knowledge which has helped her to complete the New Zealand Law Society Legal Executive Certificate at the end of 2008. At the commencement of her employment Katrina had always been a city girl but has transitioned to a more rural lifestyle recently.
Katrina is a Registered Legal Executive and an Associate Member of the NZ Institute of Legal Executives. She assists John and works alongside Bessie and Ella to deal with commercial and conveyancing files, estate administration and preparation of documents such as Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney to name a few areas of her skillbase. Because Ronald W. Angland & Son is a general practice, she has been provided with a variety of work to do during her time with the firm and enjoys her job as there is always something different to do. Working in a rural office exposes Katrina to people from all walks of life and she prides herself in ensuring that the clients’ needs are met having regard to their personal requirements.
Outside of work Katrina likes to get involved in community services and is the current Chairperson of the Leeston Consolidated School Whanau, Friends & School committee and has also coached junior football for the Selwyn United Football Club, both positions over the last 3-4 years. In 2019 Katrina became a Justice of the Peace for Selwyn.
Interests/hobbies:
Spending time with family and pets, dabbling in some gardening here and there, learning through new experiences, helping the community and creating cross stitch masterpieces!
